
More than 50 protesters gathered outside the Egyptian embassy in London today, calling for the immediate release of detained journalists and a return to press freedom in Egypt.
Demonstrators held placards and taped over their mouths during the protest held by the National Union of Journalists.
It follows the arrest of 20 journalists by Egyptian authorities on charges of terrorism and representatives from the NUJ will be meeting the British ambassador to campaign for their release.
