
The Radio Times has hired former Times magazine editor Gill Morgan as a consultant.
Morgan launched and edited the first glossy magazine introduced by The Times 11 years ago and has since The Times Luxx magazine, in 2007.
She was made Assistant Editor (Magazines) of The Times in 2008.
Radio Times editor, Ben Preston, said he brought Morgan to the Radio Times to introduce ‘big ambitious ideas, flair and her unrivalled contacts book’and to give the magazine added ‘zing”.
Before working for the News International title Morgan started her career in women’s magazines at Company.
She then moved onto became assistant features editor of the Sunday Express Magazine, then women’s editor of the Sunday Express, before moving to The Times as deputy editor of the then Saturday Review section.
