BBC launches second magazine aimed at pre-schoolers

By Oliver Luft

BBC Magazines is to launch a new magazine next month aimed at pre-school age children.

The three-weekly ZingZillas Magazine, a spin-off from the CBeebies television show of the same name, will target three to six-year-olds with a primary focus on four-year-olds.

The new title, which will cost £2.50, will carry a series of cover-mounted gifts and editorial aimed at inspiring children to make music and learn about musical styles and instruments.

The new title follows another pre-school TV spin-off magazine launch from BBC Magazines.

In June, the publisher launched Kerwhizz magazine, a four-weekly pre-school title based on the CBeebies television programme of the same name.

The circulation figures for all BBC magazines will be published later today by the Audit Bureau of Circulations, along with those for all other magazines.
