Would Mayor Boris keep his Telegraph column

Stephen Glover in the Independent wonders whether whether Boris Johnson will retain his lucrative Daily Telegraph column if he is successful in this year’s race for City Hall.

The former Spectator editor, Conservative MP and London Mayoral candidate is thought to earn around £250,000 a year for his often controversial articles, and Glover suggests that his paper might consider giving him a “paid leave of absence” while he pounds the campaign trail.
