While The Sun reports today on its front page that builder Colin Sturt has won the £26.1m EuroMillions lottery jackpot.
The Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror report that his dad George Sturt, 76, is in fact the winner and that he has said he will share the cash with his children Colin, Gary and Teresa.
Sturt revealed he had won the cash after walking into the offices of his local paper the Dorking Advertiser – which not surprisingly also has the story and is name-checked in most of the national press stories. They explain that he won the cash in a syndicate with his children.
All will be explained later today anyway when the winners pick up their cheque at a press conference.
