Financial Times arts writer Antony Thorncroft has paid tribute to his former colleague, Kevin Henriques, who died last month at the age of 72.
Henriques worked behind-the-scenes on the FT arts page for 25 years, until he took early retirement in 1993.
“Every working evening, Kevin would slip into the building, wearing a shabby red cardigan and usually unshaven,” says Thorncroft. “He had to deal with a collection of prima donnas, yet he won their admiration and affection.”
