Thirty years after it folded, former staff from the London Evening News are holding a reunion at their old watering hold, the top bar of the Harrow Pub on Whitefriars Street. They are meeting on Thursday, 28 October, from 6pm.
All editorial staff are welcome at the reunion, which is being organised by former news reporter Paul Smith and desk man Guy Simpson. Refreshments will be provided. Journalists who plan to attend should email Paul on p.smith.32@btinternet.com or Guy at guysimpson09@googlemail.com.
