Bauer Media’s Q magazine will launch its first iPad edition later this month.
In a press release the company said:
Q, the biggest music magazine in the UK, today announced it is extending its reach across multiple platforms with the launch of an iPad edition, due for worldwide release on August 28.
The new iPad edition will draw on Q’s 25 year heritage to deliver a uniquely engaging digital music magazine delivering a complete edition of Q in tablet form and more. Content will include exclusive artist interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, powerful imagery and a variety of video and audio content that celebrates the majesty of rock’n’roll on the iPad.
The Q iPad edition will be built on Bauer’s proprietary tablet technology, which will allow advertisers to be part of an enhanced experience on this intuitive new format.
Launching on August 28 in the Apple Newsstand with Q’s October 2012 issue, the iPad edition has been designed to fully utilise the next generation of display offerings from Apple’s new iPad and will debut with Muse featuring in an exclusive cover shoot. Subscriptions start at £2.99.
