The jury in the phone-hacking trial was yesterday shown a handwritten list naming people of interest to the News of the World.
The list contained 18 names however six of these had been redacted for legal reasons.
The jury heard that the list had been recovered from the home of private investigator Glenn Mulcaire who has admitted phone-hacking charges.
Number one on the list titled “Target Evaluation” is celebrity PR agent Max Clifford, followed by Gordon Taylor of the Professional Footballers’ Association.
Also on the list was Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton who was personal assistant to Prince Harry during his time at Sandhurst College. The jury previously heard that the News of the World hacked the former SAS man’s phone and discovered evidence of Harry’s rule-breaking at the college.
Former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson was number 11 on the list, ahead of Kate Middleton and former gladiator star Eunice Huthart who worked as a stunt double for Hollywood star Angela Jolie.
Prince Charles’ stepson Tom Parker-Bowles was also on the list with former singer Kerry Katona.
All of the defendants deny the charges.
The trial continues this morning.
