The BBC is to unveil a major rebranding of its news output on 21 April, which will see News 24 renamed BBC News.
The revamp, which the Sunday Times says cost £550,000, includes new studio designs for the 1pm and 10pm bulletins and the introduction of a standardised colour-coded on-screen look.
