Natmags will use Pluck software for interactive features

By Martin Stabe wirepost

The National Magazines Company’s digital division, Hearst Digital, will use software from Pluck for its community functionality, New Media Age reports.

The Guardian announced last month recently announced that it would be using the Texas-based company’s software on its web site.

New versions of Natmags sites have emphasised interactivity. Hearst Digital runs websites including Handbag.com, Netdoctor.com, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar and GetLippy.

Last year, a relaunch of Handbag added social networking and social bookmarking features to the site. A new version of the Harpers Bazaar site launched as part of the Handbag site, and a new version of Comsmopolitan’s UK site is expected this year.
