Martin Bright defects to the Spectator

By owenamos

Martin Bright, former political editor of the New Statesman, now writes for arch-rival The Spectator.

Bright announced he was the New Statesman last month ‘to work on a film project”.

He formerly worked for the BBC, Guardian, and Observer.

And now, just weeks after leaving, his blog – titled ‘The Bright Stuff – dispatches from enemy territory’– appears on The Spectator’s website.

Fraser Nelson, The Spectator’s political editor, told London’s Evening Standard: ‘There are few finer columnists than Martin. It’s good to have him on board.”
