The editor of Brand Republic, Gordon MacMillan has set up a Facebook group in support of Sayed Pervez Kambaksh – the Afghan journalist currently facing the death penalty for allegedly distributing blasphemous literature.
So far it has attracted 400 members apparently. Those wishing to support Kambaksh can also sign a petition launched today by the Independent to draw attention to his plight.
