Jade Goody extended the hand of friendship to journalists today when she sent out trays of tea and coffee to the press pack camped outside her house.

The reality TV star, who has cancer, asked friends to give out the hot drinks because she was worried reporters might be cold.

Goody’s friend, Kevin Adams, told reporters: “Jade wanted me to say she’s sorry she can’t come out and see you herself but she’s a bit tired.
