ITV recovers slightly after disastrous Thursday

By paulmcnally

ITV has shown some sign of a recovery today after hitting an all-time share price low of 37.7p yesterday morning.

Shares closed this evening up 3.7 per cent to 42.6p. Stockbroker ABN Amro today downgraded ITV from “hold” to “sell”, citing growing concerns of further deterioration in the ad market.

Meanwhile, a group of Scottish councillors has travelled to London today to discuss proposed regional news cuts with ITV regional director Michael Jerney.
