ITV newsreader stalked by obsessive fan

By admin

ITV newsreader Justina Simpson was stalked by an obsessive fan who sent her a book called Kiss Kiss by children’s author Roald Dahl, which described “the delicious feeling as you go to bed that you’re being watched”.

Magistrates at Barry, South Wales, heard Simpson, a presenter on ITV Wales, was sent explicit books and pictures up to three times a day by 58-year-old viewer Peter Sullivan causing the newsreader to feel ‘extremely uneasy and harassed.”

Sullivan, of Roath, Cardiff, had an indefinite restraining order preventing him from having any contact with Simpson placed on him as Magistrates imposed a two-year community order, a two-year supervision order and a two year mental health treatment requirement order.

Sullivan had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and had “extreme difficulties” the Telegraph reported.
