IRN political editor retires after 31 years

Independent Radio News’s veteran political editor, Peter Murphy, is retiring after 31 years reporting on Westminster.

According to RadioToday.co.uk, Murphy has seen five prime ministers enter Downing Street. IRN editor Jon Godel called him “the voice of commercial radio political news for generations of listeners”.
