First new BBC recruits complete journalism foundation course

Four years after the Hutton report led to a review of the BBC’s editorial values – the first 15 graduates have completed their intensive induction training organised by the corporation’s college of journalism.

BBC in-house magazine Ariel reports that all new BBC journalism recruits now take the foundation course in which they take part in workshops around editorial ethics and values and carry out exercises in finding stories and story-telling.
