Richard Desmond’s Express Newspapers is to build a new printing facility instead of upgrading its existing West Ferry plant.
According to Print Week, the publisher of the Express and Daily Star newspapers is to move from its home in the Docklands to a new site likely to be located north of London and close to the M1/M25 corridor.
Express Newspapers is to invest £100m in its print facilities which will include new presses.
