Editor & Publisher, the US press trade magazine which is to cease publication after more than 100 years in print, will produce a January issue.
Owner Nielsen Media said last week that the December issue of the magazine would be the last before the title closed. E&P said today that due to ‘overwhelming reader and advertiser demand’it would publish a January issue.
The news, posted under the headline ‘Hope Remains?’did go on to add that the January issue was expected to be the publication’s last under its current ownership.
However, all might not be lost for the newspaper trade title.
E&P outlined today how: ‘a number of outside companies and individuals have expressed interest in possibly keeping E&P going,’adding: ‘so stay tuned for updates.”
