The Russian millionaire behind London free newspaper City AM has disappeared while on holiday in Latvia, the Telegraph reports.

Police have begun searching for Leonid Rozhetskin, a member of the City AM board, after they found blood stains and broken furniture in his holiday home.

Rozhetskin is a shareholder in the Dutch consortium that owns 50 per cent of the financial freesheet.
