Christian magazine launches to inspire youth workers

By William Turvill

A Christian magazine for people who work with children in churches was launched on Friday.

Childrenswork, published by Premier Christian Media, is a bi-monthly nationwide magazine aimed at providing resources to help leaders inspire and encourage pre-teens into Christianity.

The title, sister to Youthwork magazine, has also launched a website and aims to be a vital tool for those working with 0-11 year olds.

‘So many work so very hard to help our churches become welcoming places for children,’said Sam Donoghue, who co-edits the magazine alongside Martin Saunders.

‘We hope to resource and support them – perhaps raising their horizons as they seek to nurture the incredibly deep, profound, yet fragile faith and spirituality of children.”

Childrenswork Magazine is offering a free copy of the first issue by request at www.childrenswork.co.uk.
