Channel 4 chairman Luke Johnson has rubbished Peter Bazalgette’s suggestion that the channel should be privatised.
In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Johnson – a columnist for the Financial Times – said: “Except for a few self-interested corporate bankers and players, there is huge embedded opposition to the idea.”
