BBC Three controller Danny Cohen has responded to calls for the channel to be axed and it £80m-a-year budget to spent on current affairs.
In an interview for the Observer, Cohen says: “There’s a danger that people say what matters about the BBC are the bits that matter to them.
“We’ve got a very good documentary about a soldier in Afghanistan coming up.”
