Bauer Media has appointed Jane Johnson as executive content director of London Lifestyles.
Johnson has spent 20 years working in the media and has been a senior executive at six different national newspapers.
She has been working with Bauer for the past 12 months and now has been made responsible for creating new products and bringing through new talent.
In the past, Johnson has been Saturday editor and associate editor at The Sun, executive editor of the Sunday Mirror and assistant editor of The Scotsman.

She has also been a director of Sky Living and editor of Closer for five years. Abby Carvosso, Group Managing Director, Bauer Media, said: “Jane is an experienced and passionate creative leader and will be a fantastic addition to the London Lifestyle executive team. Her incredible enthusiasm, talent and determination will be crucial in helping us deliver market-leading growth whilst producing world-class content for our audiences.”
