London Evening Standard journalist Andrew Gilligan has launched an attack on Virgin Trains, claiming he was left stranded between Birmingham and London after he was told he could not travel with his bicycle.
“I was physically assaulted, called a f***ing c*** and a prick,” Gilligan claims. “The person who did all this was not a mugger or a hooligan, or even one of my political enemies, but a member of staff of Virgin Trains.”
