Kidnapped BBC reporter Alan Johnston is among the speakers at a conference called New Threats to Media Freedom – How We Fight Back, organised by the NUJ and the Campaign for Press and Broadcasting freedom.
Held on 26 January from 9.30am at the NUJ offices on Gray’s Inn Road, London, it will look at how “political and commercial pressures are affecting freedom to report”.
Other speakers include Martin Bright, Granville Williams, David Crouch, Aidan White and Peter Wilby.
