What Car? magazine has appointed Jim Holder as its new editor in one of three senior editorial changes.
Holder returns to magazine from autocar.co.uk where he was deputy editor. He had previously worked as the deputy editor of the whatcar.com.
His appointment comes as group editor Steve Fowler has moved to become editor-in-chief with overall editorial responsibility for web and print titles, he will also now work on developing new products.
Stephen Hopkins has also been appointed to work alongside Holden as the magazine’s new art editor.
Hopkins joins from Haymarket’s customer publishing division, Haymarket Network.
The appointments come as the magazine undergoes a revamp with the new-look title hitting the newsstands on 28 July.
What Car? had a monthly circulation of 83,102 in the last six months of 2009, down from 92,102 in the same period a year earlier.
