Mr Showbiz vows to keep his star shining

By Axegrinder axeblog

What has become of Axegrinder’s favourite Fleet Street blogger Joe Mott ‒ the Daily Star’s Mr Showbiz?

He signed off from his day job with a leaving do on a boat where he “drank extremely heavily ‒ perhaps 15 or 16 brandies”, got the obligatory mock-up front page and “a brass Zippo inscribed with the words: Joe Mott ‒ My Skill Is Immense”.

For those who thought Motty had gone for good, he signs off his blog for the last time thus:

“Watch out for news of a VERY exciting website I’ll be launching in the near future plus keep reading my column in the Daily Star Sunday. And I might even be on TV again. Sorry.”
