Former England international footballer Ian Wright is to host a new football programme to be hosted on The Sun’s paywalled website.
Wright, a long-standing columnist for the paper, will present The Sun FC’s weekly Saturday show from this weekend. It will be available 6.30am on Saturday.
In addition, Wright’s Monday to Friday show will launch next week and be available from 4.30pm every day.
Wright joins former Sky Sports News and Al Jazeera Sport presenter Samantha Johnson, who will present The Sun FC daily news bulletin.
From this weekend, The Sun and its Times sister titles will broadcast near-live clips from Premier League games on their websites.
