Dear Axegrinder,
I am not quite out of the habit of correcting things. The aptly-named ONO of which I’m president is the Organisation of News Ombudsmen, not Newspaper Ombudsmen.
It includes an increasing number of members who work in television and radio (not in Britain, alas). This was one of the little blemishes of the four-page “not-leaving supplement&dquo; produced on my handing over the job of readers’ editor at The Guardian to my already admirable successor, Siobhain Butterworth.
