Evening Standard editor Veronica Wadley devoted a precious double-page colour spread to the opening of a new health food shop.
Reporter Jonathan Prynn was even despatched to New York for a lengthy article on 30 March about the store’s parent company The shop is “promising to shake up the market, with ultra-fast home delivery, competitive prices and a ‘right on’ business style,” he gushes excitedly.
Strangely for such a plug, the piece only manages to refer to the store’s new location in “Kensington” without giving an exact address.
In fact, the new Whole Foods Market will be in the same building as Wadley’s offices and those of the Mail at Northcliffe House. How handy.
