Fascinating news reaches me of an uncharacteristically lavish series of features being planned at the Sunday Express.
The paper is planning a “complete home makeover†which will run in a series of four photo features. Details of the huge array of items needed are displayed on the Gorkana website for the ambitious project.
Anyone who donates one of the required products ‒ which range from a sofa to a ceiling lamp ‒ will get a credit in the paper. How generous.
Sadly, as the plea below points out, none of the items will be returned. What on earth will happen to all the items ‒ not least the exotic-sounding bedroom with its “oriental themeâ€?
