BBC television news presenter Mishal Husain has been named one of Britain’s most powerful Muslim women by a panel of judges led by Trevor Phillips, chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Phillips said the award was established to celebrate high performers across the business, arts, media, voluntary and public sectors.
The Power List was revealed at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester last night.
