Liz Cookman

Liz Cookman is a foreign correspondent who has been covering the human cost of war in Ukraine since January 2022. Her work has appeared across a number of leading international publications, including Foreign Policy, the Guardian, The Sunday Times, Al Jazeera, Channel 4 News and the Economist's 1843. She was previously based in Turkey and the Middle East, and spent several years as a foreign desk editor at an international newspaper.
