The World Entertainment News Network (WENN) and the New York Daily News have entered into an arrangement for WENN’s photo division to represent the News’ celebrity photos outside of the USA.
The deal, brokered by WENN chief executive officer Lloyd Beiny and Daily News editorial director and deputy publisher Martin Dunn, gives WENN international rights to syndicate all celebrity and entertainment photos produced by the Daily News.
Beiny said: “The New York Daily News is one of the most respected newspapers in the world and their daily showbiz coverage of New York events is second to none. Their photographers, including the renowned celebrity snapper Richard Corkery, have unique access to New York events and our arrangement now provides the News with the opportunity of global exposure for its images.”
