ITN has secured a deal with BT, which will make its mobile news channel available on Virgin Mobile.
ITN News is a 24-hour news channel produced specifically for mobile phones by the company's multimedia division ITN On.
The rolling news channel, which carries bulletins updated every 15 minutes, was launched in May last year and is already available on Orange, Vodafone and 3.
BBC One, ITV1, Channel 4, E4 and all the UK's digital radio stations are the other content providers for BT Movio.
Nicholas Wheeler, managing director of ITN On, said: "ITN On focuses on producing content for mobile phones. We see the BT Movio wholesale mobile broadcast entertainment service as a key part of the future of mobile broadcasting in the UK and therefore our inclusion on the platform is of strategic importance."
ITN On also supplies video-on-demand news bulletins to O2 and text bulletins to T-Mobile. It also supplies online video bulletins for MSN and ITN.co.uk. The division also produces "This Day in History" for Google Video.
