Radio 5 Live and BBC TV’s Newsnight are to simulcast a live discussion programme, aiming to create a new arena for audiences of the programmes.
The discussion, which will focus on the topic of immigration, will take place on 8 November and will be co-presented by 5 Live’s Richard Bacon (above) and Newsnight’s Gavin Esler, with the two studios linked via camera and audio. The simulcast will be in the usual Newsnight slot from 10.30pm.
