Top online post for Heery at IPC Ignite

Kevin Heery has been made head of IPC Ignite online. He was previously technical and production manager of nme.com. Together with editor Anthony Thornton, Heery has picked up three awards for his work on the music site. His task will be to develop IPC Ignite’s internet strategy as well as managing the Ignite online team to create income from internal projects.

Neil Robinson, publishing director of IPC Ignite’s music titles, said: “Kevin’s breadth of experience and success rightfully promoted him to this new role. “He has been integral to leading nme.com’s progress over the past three years and has been responsible for overall project management for two extremely successful redesigns.” He added: “He has built a ?rst-class team, which I am sure he will lead on to further success.”
