Daily Telegraph assistant editor Corinna Honan is the latest long-standing journalist with the paper to leave amid the current editorial purge at the paper.
Some 54 journalists are being made redundant as the Telegraph Group moves from Canary Wharf to an integrated multimedia newsroom in Victoria.
Honan has been at the Telegraph for 12 years and joined as features editor.
More recently she has been in charge of book serializations, News Review, political interviews and the Saturday edition.
She has resigned to go freelance, the company said.

John Bryant said today: "We shall miss Corinna and particularly the great skills she brought to book serialization, features and interviews."
Honan said: "I have had a wonderful time at the Telegraph. I wish John and his team all the best."
Two other senior Telegraph journalists are currently negotiating exit terms with the paper – former deputy editor Neil Darbyshire and former foreign editor Alan Philps.
