The team behind new London film listings magazine Take 1 claims it
has found a “potential goldmine” in its free, handbag-sized format,
launched this month.
The A5 glossy, which is distributed at
cinemas, tube stations and West End shops and restaurants, is running
fortnightly, with the aim of increasing to weekly at the end of the
year.
Publisher Elizabeth Hackford said: “We’re delivering a
cinema-going audience to our [advertising] clients for a very cheap
price.”
The title features a cover interview every issue – most
recently with Lord of the Rings star Viggo Mortensen – as well as full
film reviews.
