Ringshaw takes on deputy role on Sunday City desk

By Press Gazette

Sunday Telegraph City editor Robert Peston has found his new deputy on home ground. Senior member of the City team Grant Ringshaw steps up to fill the position vacated by Mary Fagan.

Peston has been looking around for a deputy since Fagan announced her decision to go into PR.

Ringshaw has been with The Sunday Telegraph since 1998, joining from Money Marketing, where he was editor. He was also a former magazines reporter at UK Press Gazette in the early Nineties.

Peston has also added to his team of writers, recruiting Sylvia Pfeifer, City editor of The Business, and Guy Dennis, a Daily Mirror City reporter. Pfeifer joined the then Sunday Business in 1998 from US magazine Chemical Week International. Dennis has worked for Bloomberg and the Money section of The Sunday Times.

“We are back up to full strength with a wonderful mix of talents,” said Peston.
