Remembering the life of Terry Lloyd

By Press Gazette

ITN is holding a memorial service to celebrate the life and work of Terry Lloyd who died last March while covering the war in Iraq.

The service will be held on 22 March – a year to the day since he was killed – at St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street, London, at 1pm.

Following the service, a reception will be held at St Bride’s Institute, next to the church. The Lloyd family welcomes any friends and colleagues who wish to attend.

For details of the service, contact Sarah Christie at ITN on 020 743 4332 or at sarah.christie@itn.co.uk.

Lloyd died after coming under US and Iraqi crossfire in southern Iraq.

Two of his colleagues, cameraman Fred Nerac and translator Hussein Osman, remain missing.

A British military investigation is still trying to discover the exact circumstances of the death and disappearances
