The Periodical Publishers Association has unveiled the shortlist for this year’s PPA Awards, with two Press Gazette writers in the running for prizes in the B2B categories.
Dominic Ponsford, Press Gazette’s deputy news editor, is up for a B2B Writer of the Year Award, while columnist The Grey Cardigan is shortlisted for the B2B columnist of the year prize.
In consumer magazines, Emap has pulled in a string of nominations: in the consumer magazine of the year category for Arena, Closer and Grazia; specialist consumer magazine of the year, for Bike, Empire and Kerrang!; and consumer editor of the year, for Jane Johnson at Closer, Colin Kennedy at Empire, Ian Foster at Match and Jane Bruton at Grazia.
The awards will be presented on Wednesday May 3 at The Grosvenor House, London.
