Press Gazette needs a new features editor

By Press Gazette

The Press Gazette editorial team is looking for a new features editor to help take the magazine on to the next exciting phase of its development.

This is a key position and we’re looking for a journalist who is brimful of fresh ideas on how to cover the world of journalism for the most demanding of readerships.

You’ll be someone who loves writing; who can handle the commissioning process with wit, wisdom and diplomacy; and who has the capacity to make contacts at the highest level of the industry.

Your background – be it business or consumer magazines, regional or national newspapers, agencies or broadcasting – is less important than the ability to show you can develop the range to cover all of these sectors with insight and authority.

Send a CV, along with a note setting out some of your ideas about Press Gazette’s feature pages, to ianr@pressgazette.co.uk or by post to:

Ian Reeves
Editor-in-waiting
19, Scarbrook Road
Croydon,
Surrey CR9 1LX

Closing date: November 1
