New Woman has signed up In Style’s senior editor, Cath Rapley, as its new associate editor, writes Ruth Addicott.
Rapley takes over from former associate editor Louise Johnson, who has moved to France to pursue a freelance career.
As senior editor on In Style, Rapley was responsible for the food and entertainment pages.
She worked for New Woman previously in 2002 as entertainment editor and has held the posts of features editor on Sky Magazine and entertainment editor on Glamour.
New Woman is also in the process of recruiting a senior writer to replace assistant features editor Helen Spiers, who has moved to Australia.
The changes follow the appointment of Margi Conklin, who took over as editor of New Woman in June, having also been poached from In Style where she was deputy.
