Ian Murray, editor of the Southern Daily Echo in Southampton, has been appointed editor-in-chief for Newsquest Hampshire. Murray will now have an editorial overview of Newsquest’s weekly titles in Hampshire, including the Basingstoke Gazette, Andover Advertiser, Hampshire Chronicle, and the Romsey Advertiser as well as the Salisbury Journal in Wiltshire.
