BBC Inside Out East journalist Julian Sturdy scooped two top prizes at the Medical Journalism Awards on Monday. Sturdy’s piece on stammering won him the inaugural story of the year award and saw him named broadcast regional journalist of the year. Emma Brady of the Birmingham Post won the best consumer news award.
