Keir Radnedge has been signed up by German sports weekly Kicker as its new English football correspondent.
Radnedge has specialised in football since he started writing for IPC’s World Soccer in 1965.
Kicker is published every Monday and Thursday and has a circulation of 450,000. Manfred Muenchrath of Kicker’s international service said the appointment coincided with growing interest in English football in Germany.
“There has always been interest in English football among German fans which has increased in recent years because of the success of the Premier League. We decided we needed to expand our coverage to reflect that interest and Keir’s experience make him the ideal correspondent,” he said.
