Jono Coleman is returning to BBC London 94.9, the station where he
began his UK broadcasting career. He will present a daily entertainment
magazine show from 25 July before taking over the breakfast show later
this year.
Coleman said: “I am very excited about joining BBC
London 94.9 to broadcast to my weekday listeners again. I’ll be on the
BBC station I started on when I came back to London from Sydney in the
1990s.”
David Robey, the station’s editor, said: “His record of
Sony awards and audience ratings speak for themselves. I believe he’s
got exactly the right qualities for BBC London 94.9FM – a larger than
life personality, intelligence and humour, and something to say to
London
